Elections

The City of Amory will be hosting a Democratic Primary Election 04/01/2025.

A primary election is for those candidates for office who are affiliated with a party (Democratic, Republican, etc.). 

If a candidate runs independent, he or she will only appear on the General Election Ballot (06/03/2025).

All city elections are held at the National Guard Old Armory and regulated by the Mississippi Secretary of State to open at 7:00 a.m. and close polls at 7:00 p.m.

The City Clerk's office for the City of Amory is located in City Hall at 109 South Front Street. 

We will be open extra hours and days to make sure that all citizens are able to exercise their right to vote.

PLEASE NOTE: During the election time frames, City Hall will be considered a polling place once absentee voting begins. This means all state and federal laws will be followed accordingly. No campaign signs, no campaigning, no clothing of any sort with a candidate or party name, etc.

The City Clerk's office normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. unless closed for an emergency.

05/31/2025 from 8:00 a.m. until Noon
