The Northeast Mississippi Nature and Interpretive Trail is a part of the history and legacy of Amory, Mississippi, and all of our citizens.
Through partnership with Wildlife Mississippi, The Dalrymple Foundation, and The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the City of Amory applied for and was awarded an $80,000+ grant through the Recreational Trails Program.
Enjoy the wonderful sites and sounds of nature, learn about the history of our area and wildlife as well as wildlife management while you enjoy outdoor exercise.
Artist Kathy Jacobs of Kathy Jacobs Design and Marketing created the beautiful educational and interpretive signs throughout the trail.
